Shipping Policy

 

We take great care to ensure your order is carefully packed to avoid any damage but we know things happen. In the unfortunate event your order arrives broken or damaged, please contact us as within 3 business daysof receiving your order.We are not responsible for any damages to your items once they have been unpacked. 

Turnaround times

Our current turnaround is 3-5 business days - updated 8/11/24

Please note our processing times are estimates only, we cannot be held accountable if the wait exceeds these times for any reason.

Turnaround times can vary & be longer during peak times. 

What is a turnaround time? Turnaround times are the time it takes for us to process your order. It does not include shipping time.

Shipping

Orders are sent with tracking via Australian Post.

Express post is available. If express post is required please select at checkout. Using express post means you will receive your order sooner once it has been dispatched, it does not mean your order will be processed quicker than the current turnaround times. 

Estimated delivery time once the courier has received your order is generally 2-10 days (within Australia) depending on shipping location.

Unfortunately we can't control how long delivery takes. You will receive tracking details so you can check the status & location of your order once it has been shipped.

If ordering from overseas, customs and/or import duties and taxes may apply in your country upon arrival. In these cases, the charges are paid for by the customer and Laser Cut Blanks is not responsible for these additional fees. If you are unsure, please kindly check with your local tax and import offices.

Rush my order

We have all been there.. Need your order in a hurry and can't afford to wait?  Rush My Order is the perfect solution.

Priority processing will direct your order to the front of the queue.

Without compromising other orders, yours will be processed out of hours.

Rush My Order is ideal for those times when you need your order faster than the current turnaround. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing your order is being handled with priority, ensuring a swift turnaround.

Please note that this service does not include express post. You will still need to select express post at the checkout. If express post is not selected, your order will be sent via regular post.

Click & collect

If you are a Hobart/Tasmanian local, you can collect your order from our Lenah Valley workshop.

Simply place your order online and select 'local pick up' at the checkout.

All pick up orders will be placed on our collection table out the front of the workshop, We will email you when your order is ready to collect.

Why is shipping so expensive?

Shipping is expensive, I think we all know that.

Please know that we do not profit from postage costs in any way. We appreciate how expensive shipping can cost and we know that this can be a large expense which none of us need. We have worked incredibly hard to ensure our postage costs are as low as possible. Our rates are calculated using both size and weight of your order so then the appropriate bag/box can be chosen using live shipping rates. 

If for some reason you are ever over-charged for postage, this will be refunded back to you as soon as your order has been processed. 

If you have concerns regarding the shipping cost, or if you have gone to check out and the cost seems excessive, please contact us. We can check to make sure the cost is correct and alter it if it is not.

If you do decide to go ahead and check out without contacting us, rest assured we will process the overcharged amount as soon as your order has been processed.

Over charging usually occurs when our live shipping rates miscalculate the size and or weight of the items in the cart.
